Presentation
The Pagode de Chanteloup, an 18th-century architectural extravaganza, is set in 14 hectares of parkland in the heart of the Châteaux de la Loire. The only remaining reminder of the Duc de Choiseul’s château, which was destroyed in 1823, the 44-metre-high Pagoda offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Château d’Amboise, the forest and the Loire Valley.
During your visit, discover the history of Chanteloup with a virtual reconstruction of the “vanished palace”, enjoy “old-fashioned games” in wood or a country picnic, discover the small Chinese garden inviting meditation, and the calm of a boat trip on the large lake.

La Pagode de Chanteloup offers a wide range of snacks and hot and cold drinks throughout the season, as well as authentic dishes from April to September.
